Grateful Groove
was formed out of a love for the music of the Grateful Dead. The band
was put together by friends and members of the successful, Fort Wayne
area band "Might As Well", in late 2001, with the intentions
of gaining a better understanding of this timeless music. Through some
lineup changes and lots of hard work it has grown into something more
than that.
Grateful Groove is electric/acoustic music with an earthy, natural sound. The music is very versatile
in that it works well in many settings such as nightclubs, coffeehouses,
and bars as well as outdoor music festivals, and social gatherings.
Like the Grateful Dead, Grateful Groove pulls in a crowd from all ages
and lifestyles, and is not hindered by style and clique.
